Dr. Wesley Palmer is an accomplished professional with over 30 years of industry experience in Financial Accounting, Business Management, Taxation, and Entrepreneurial Management. He assists nascent entrepreneurs with business registrations, writes business plans, conducts feasibility studies, performs market research, analyzes trends, and provides hands-on training in small business management.

He is the President and Chief Executive officer of Wezpa Consulting, Inc.  A financial services company that he founded in January 1997.  The company has three branches in Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island, respectively. The company offers a wide range of services including management consulting, financial consulting, accounting, and taxation.  The company has A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau of New York and an excellent relationship with its clients. Dr. Palmer is the author of the company’s blog and has written extensively on financial, management, economics, accounting and political issues. He is an expert in entrepreneurship and has consulted with hundreds of entrepreneurs and help them develop their business ventures.

A recipient of All Pro Media Group diamond professional award, as well as Business and Applied Sciences Academy of North America Best Paper award for scholarly research and writing; Dr. Palmer earned a BBA in Management, and International Finance and a BBA in Economics from Baruch College. He also earned an MBA in Accounting and a Post Graduate certificate in Accounting from Keller Graduate School of Management.  Dr. Palmer earned his Ph.D in Management with specialization in leadership and organizational change from Walden University. His Dissertation, Perspectives of Small Entrepreneurs’ Inaccessibility to Capital in Brooklyn, NY is published in ProQuest for global access and is used as reference by students around the world. 

In addition to his teaching assignment at Touro College, Dr. Palmer is an adjunct professor of management at Baruch College.  Also, he is a member of the Academy of Management.
