Application Requirements

Below are the requirements you'll need to apply to the Graduate School of Business. The GSB Admissions' Committee takes a holistic approach to our admissions considerations and decisions, looking at all the items submitted.

General GSB Admissions Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university (or its equivalent).
  • A completed application for admission to the Touro College Graduate School of Business.
  • Two letters of recommendation.
  • A current resume.
  • Short essay(s):
    • For our masters' programs, you will need to submit two short essays of no more than 500 words. One of the essays should discuss your motivation, interests, and goals in pursuing graduate business studies.
    • For our certificate programs, you will need to submit one minimum of 500-word essay discussing your motivation, interests, and goals in pursuing graduate business studies.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite as evidenced via courses, certificates or badges.
  • Applicants whose undergraduate education was conducted in a language other than English must also submit one of the following:
    • A TOEFL internet-based score of 75 or above. TOEFL score report for Touro College Graduate Business is code 6737. 
    • An IELTS test with an overall score of 6.5 or above. 
    • Pearson TE (Academic) 58 or above

Masters' programs specific requirements in addition to the general requirements listed above:

MBA

  • If your undergraduate cumulative grade point average (GPA) is below 3.0, you will need to take and submit an official GMAT or GRE(click here for GRE practice questions) test score report. Touro College's GMAT score report number is MN8-Z3-04. GRE score report for Touro College Graduate Business is code 2903. If your undergraduate cumulative GPA is above 3.0 and you have 2 years of relevant work experience, you do not need to submit.
  • Successful completion with a grade of "B" or better, of these prerequisite undergraduate courses: (1) accounting OR finance, (2) microeconomics OR macroeconomics, and (3) statistics OR calculus. 

MS in Human Resource Management

  • We accept students of all majors, no other prerequisites required. We reserve the right to request an interview.

MS in Healthcare Management

  • Successful completion with a grade of "B" or better, of these prerequisite undergraduate courses:
    • Finance
    • Statistics
    • Macroeconomics OR Microeconomics

MS in International Business Finance 

  • Successful completion with a grade of "B" or better, of these prerequisite undergraduate courses:
    • Principles of Accounting
    • Principles of Finance

MS in Accounting

  • If your undergraduate cumulative grade point average (GPA) is below 3.0, you will need to take and submit an official GMAT or GRE test score report. Touro College's GMAT score report number is MN8-Z3-04. GRE score report for Touro College Graduate Business is code 2903. If your undergraduate cumulative GPA is above 3.0, you do not need to submit.
  • Bachelor’s in accounting or the successful completion with a grade of "B" or better, of these prerequisite undergraduate courses:
    • Principles of Accounting I
    • Principles of Accounting II
    • Cost Accounting
    • Principles of Finance
    • Macroeconomics OR Microeconomics
  • Touro College graduates holding a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Accounting will have preferred status in the admission process.

Specific requirements for Advanced Certificate programs, in addition to the general requirements listed above, are:

You must have ONE of the following:

  • GMAT or GRE in 20th percentile
  • 2+ years of experience in the certificate field
  • Graduate business degree
