Assistant Professor, Management and Law

After graduating with a degree in history from Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Dr. Gavin Goldstein pursued a career in law. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School and began teaching part-time while practicing law. 

Dr. Goldstein's law practice helps him prepare his students by keeping him current on both legal scholarship and real-world procedures. After being hired as an Assistant Professor at LIM College in New York teaching business management and law, Dr. Goldstein earned his PhD in Business Management and wrote his dissertation on Corporate Social Responsibility ("CSR") and Taxation. This dissertation evolved into two double-blind peer-reviewed articles published in the International Journal of Business & Applied Sciences, which he coauthored with his twin brother in 2020. 

Dr. Goldstein published his first book "Business Law, A Modern Textbook for Undergraduate Students and Primer for Law Students" in 2023, and continues to research the intersections of CSR, ethical management, and the law. when not practicing law, teaching, or researching and writing, Dr. Goldstein enjoys spending time with his parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews, and is a passionate marathon runner.
