James (Skip) Vaccarino

James (Skip) Vaccarino is a Human Resources executive and instructor with over 30 years of real-world talent management experience. He is currently Executive Vice President at Corporate Resource Development, a publicly-held firm providing diversified staffing, recruiting, and consulting services to clients ranging from sole proprietorships to Fortune® 1000 firms.

Vaccarino's HR expertise encompasses recruitment, compensation/benefits, management development, employee relations, compliance, outsourcing, and HRIS. His HR career has included stints as an entrepreneur; as Director of Human Resources for a division of the Chicago Stock Exchange; as Senior Executive Recruiter for Smith Barney Inc., and as a Human Resource manager for L.F. Rothchild, Unterberg & Towbin. From 1993-2006, he was President of the Wall Street Employment Managers Association.

Since September 2012, Vaccarino teaches Human Resource classes as Adjunct Professor at the Touro College Graduate School of Business. He is a mentor for Working in Support of Education (WISE), an educational nonprofit dedicated to fostering financial literacy and entrepreneurship, and preparing students for college and the global workplace. A member of the executive board at New York City's innovative High School of Economics and Finance, he has taught its Land That Job program for 20 years.

As a published author, Vaccarinos’ children’s book “What’s in Your Pocket” is a fun picture book that takes a look at community helpers and explores what’s in their pockets. The book is an excellent tool for early childhood teachers and professionals.
