SHRM credential holders are required to recertify every three years. One of the ways you can recertify is by earning 60 credits within the 3 year recertification period. We offer the 60 credits of courses needed to recertify. (If you’re not yet SHRM certified, we can prepare you for your SHRM Certification too.)

Digial Badges
A digital badge is a graphic verification of the skills you have mastered after successfully completing some form of professional learning or an experience in which you have participated. A digital badge is an icon, but it is not a static image. It is clickable and houses information such as the issuing institution, the date earned, the criteria required to earn the badge, and the evidence that shows that you have met the required criteria. Digital badges are a great way to share your professional learning achievements and new competencies with employers, colleagues, friends, and family via social platforms such as LinkedIn, X, and Facebook, or through an open backpack.

Digital badges are powerful tools to grow your skills and impact your community. The Graduate School of Business offers these non-program specific badges for the community.
This experiential badge provides participants with the essential skills and capabilities to create a business plan, and will also give them a template which is essentially a summary of the table of contents to write each section, including: executive summary, finances, officers and staff members, etc. Creating a strong and well-written business plan is an important first-step in the establishment of a legally-recognized business entity, and will help attract investors and capital.
Employee development is one of the most important business management skills, and is tied into areas such as retention, a creative and enriching work environment, increased productivity and productivity, and much more. This experiential badge focuses on the essential skills and capabilities management executives need in order to motivate, inspire, train, guide and help their employees to grow and develop in their careers.

The New York Business Plan Competition is about building entrepreneurship skills and planning for creation. This is a non-degree co-curricular program on creating and planning a successful entrepreneurial business. The program aims to help you gain business acumen and flex your skills in taking steps toward a viable and prosperous enterprise.

Graduate School of Business students enrolled in any of the Master of Business Administration, Master of Science, or Advanced Certificate programs have the opportunity to complete skills badges in Critical Thinking, Ethical Reasoning, Intercultural Knowledge, Lifelong Learning, Oral Presentation, Problem Solving, Quantitative Literacy, Teamwork, and Writing. The specific skills are based on the American Association of Colleges and Universities, a global organization that is a catalyst and facilitator for innovations that improve educational quality and equity and that support the success of all students.
