Charles is an accomplished senior Human Resources Executive with over 35 years of extensive, hands-on experience across diverse industries, including Manufacturing; Services; Consulting; Non-Profit; Academia. He joined the Adjunct Faculty at The Graduate School of Business in Fall 2015.
He is a highly skilled and charismatic trainer and teacher who is adept at integrating human resources with companies’ business and strategic plans, with a special focus on career success based on strong goal-setting and achievement orientation, sound judgment, maturity, proactive/self-directed demeanor, excellent managerial skills, and a high energy level.

For the last 12 years, Charles has worked at a major NYC real estate company as Director of Human Resources & Administration, where he has been responsible for handling all people systems functions for a 450-employee real estate company that owns and operates a portfolio of over 400 residential and commercial properties throughout the New York metro area and other locations. Areas of involvement include hands-on activities in human resources, training, benefits administration, and related areas. He is also responsible for all aspects of facilities management, repairs and maintenance of offices (approximately 35,000 sq. ft.), and related endeavors, and has implemented several new activities and initiatives, including employee newsletter; employee recognition program; performance evaluation process; formalized purchase requisitions; staff training; salary plan; job descriptions; preventive maintenance programs; etc.
Charles possesses a Master of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Educational Administration from St. John’s University, in Jamaica, NY and obtained his BA degree in Foreign Languages with a minor in Psychology from Fordham University at Lincoln Center in Manhattan.
In his spare time Charles is also an active semi-professional electric guitarist, composer, electronic musician, and luthier who designs and builds guitars! He has played in various bands and groups of one sort or another, and eventually became a published songwriter who received a significant amount of radio play with several of his original “free jazz”, “fusion” and “new age” compositions on radio stations throughout Florida, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey.
