Professor Fernando Ferrer is the instructor of ISBN 610 International Business, MBAN 608 Managerial Finance, ISBN605 International Law and Regulation of International Business Transactions, MBAN 670 Health Care Management, of the Master of Business Administration and Master of Science programs of the Touro Graduate School of Business.

Fernando Ferrer is a proven business leader in life science with expertise in strategic planning and the creation and execution of global and international growth strategies in different corporate and cultural environments, and he is an international trilingual speaker of diverse life science and business related topics.

Professor Ferrer is based in the US, and due to his professional career he lived also in Spain, Switzerland, Argentina, and Brazil, and besides his global and international roles, has had experience working directly with 40 countries.

Heading up his latest enterprise, Multinational Partnerships, LLC, he is focused on global and international strategic planning, business expansion of life science organizations across Latin-American markets, and the development and management of business alliances among multinational and Latin American organizations for both, in business-to-consumer (B2C), and business-to-business (B2B) markets. Mr. Ferrer business consulting experience includes services to leading organizations like Pfizer, Mead Johnson Nutrition, Admera Health, Eurofarma, Medley/Sanofi Group, i-Health DSM, and Horizon Pharma.

Fernando Ferrer is supporting two patient advocacy organizations; he is the Chairman of the Hispanic and Ibero-American Council at ICAN for patients suffering from cancer, and the International Correspondent of AMAVI for patients with rare diseases. Fernando is a member of the Board of Directors of a scientific not for profit organization.

He began his professional career in the chemical-pharmaceutical Swiss company Roche (F. Hoffmann-La Roche A.G.), where he had global and Latin American roles for diverse business units while living in different countries. Mr. Ferrer was General Manager in Brazil and Country Manager in Argentina of fully integrated pharmaceutical and medical device companies with full P&L responsibility and business within the Americas.

While based in Spain and working for a European company, Mr. Ferrer was responsible for the U.S. market and Latin America where he developed a distribution network for botanical extracts and herbal products. He served as Director of Marketing Oncology Latin America at Celgene Corporation//Pharmion Corporation. He was first based in Spain and later in the United States. Mr. Ferrer developed the business strategy and led the company’s efforts from registration to the launch of providing Hematology /Oncology products to 18 Latin American countries.

Mr. Ferrer earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and is Alumni from Universidad Austral, IAE (Argentina) and IESE (Spain) Business School, a Bachelor of Science degree in Production Organization of the Engineering College of UADE University (Argentina), and a Technical degree in Chemistry from the Krause Technical School (Argentina). He also studied at leading international business schools including Columbia School of Business (USA), Rutgers University (USA), and the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) of Switzerland. Mr. Ferrer is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
