The 12-credit Advanced Certificate in Artificial Intelligence Decision-Making can be completed in one semester and covers business strategy, generative AI, digital transformation, and responsible AI practices.
Designed for mid-career professionals and recent college graduates, the certificate focuses on practical skills you can put to work right away. You’ll learn how to identify where AI can create real business value, turn organizational challenges into AI-enabled solutions, and help lead AI initiatives across teams and functions. Coursework also covers governance, bias, regulatory compliance, and the ethical use of emerging technologies.
By completing the certificate, you’ll be prepared to:

Required Courses
There are no prerequisites. Students must complete the following courses:
- Strategic AI Deployment: From Process to Practice (3 credits)
- The Practice of Generative AI for Business (3 credits)
- Digital Transformation (3 credits)
- Ethical & Economic Impact of Generative AI on Digital Marketing (3 credits)
Admissions Requirements
To apply to the Advanced Certificate in Artificial Intelligence Decision-Making, you’ll need to meet GSB admissions requirements, which include:
- An undergraduate degree
- A 500-word essay or personal statement
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Students who successfully complete the Advanced Certificate receive priority consideration when applying to Touro Graduate School of Business MS or MBA programs.
Continue toward an MBA in Leadership Enabled AI Decision-Making
The Advanced Certificate in AID can also serve as a first step toward earning an MBA in Leadership Enabled Artificial Intelligence Decision-Making (LEAD) at Touro GSB. If you’re accepted into Touro’s master’s program, all 12 advanced certificate credits can be applied toward your 30-credit MBA in LEAD.
Additional prerequisite courses may be required. Students must apply to the MBA in LEAD program within five years of completing the advanced certificate for the 12 credits to count toward the MBA.
