Kenneth Dreifus Headshot

Kenneth S. Dreifus is a former commercial banker and licensed Real Estate Broker in New York State whose eponymous firm specializes in the placement of commercial mortgages. He has been a full-time Touro faculty member for over a quarter century and is a former chair of the Department of Business and Accounting for NYSCAS.

In the course of his career, he has been the author or co-author of over 20 articles that have appeared in business magazines or real estate financing trade journals. He served as lead author on a peer-reviewed journal article that has 550+ views. Professor Dreifus teaches economics and finance courses at both the graduate and undergraduate level and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Touro Accounting and Business Society Journal.

In addition, he has been a member of the New York Undergraduate Faculty Senate for many years and is their representative to the HTC Senate (Chicago).

Professor Dreifus has two sons (of four) who are Touro graduates, and a granddaughter who attends the Lander College for Women.
